A Story of Coming Home: From the wreckage of a tsunami to 20 years of faithful friendship.
After the 2004 tsunami devastated Baan Nam Khem, missionary Jason Goh moved in with a quiet, steady devotion. For over two decades, he has walked alongside this coastal community & built a family, not just buildings. What started as disaster relief is now a sanctuary of safety and fresh starts for Burmese refugee families.
Baan Nam Khem was one of Thailand's worst-affected areas in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which killed approximately a quarter of its 4,200 residents and destroyed 80 percent of its homes.
