Feeding Children in Fiji's Only Deaf School

About the Harland Nutrition Center
Imagine this: you're a child who is deaf in a country where the only school that can serve you is on the other side of the island. You pack up, leave your family, and move into a hostel with nineteen other kids just like you because the opportunity is worth it. That's exactly what these 20 students have done, and it's honestly remarkable.
MANNA Worldwide is partnering with a local school and church in Fiji to help these kids. Right now, our goal is to fund three meals a day for all 20 students throughout their primary and secondary school years. They're getting an education, learning about Jesus, and building a future. With your help, we can ensure the pangs of hunger never get in the way of their education and potential.
The Strategy for Transformation
Our approach focuses on three key objectives:

Provide consistent, nutritious meals morning, noon, and night so hunger is never what stands between a child and their education.

When kids aren't worried about their next meal, they can focus on what matters: learning, growing, and becoming who God made them to be.

Alongside the local school and church, we're investing in the full flourishing of these children, body, mind, and spirit.

Long Term Mindset
Every month, the center needs $1,000 to provide three daily meals for 20 deaf students at Fiji's only school for the deaf.
Future Growth
We'd love to expand this program to cover weekend meals and school holiday periods, because a child's need for food doesn't take a break when class does.
