Ten Years of Showing Up for Suva's Kids
In a Hindu neighborhood in Suva, Fiji, a local church has spent over a decade feeding children, teaching Bible stories, and proving that love is a pretty universal language.
About the Suva Nutrition Center
Pastor Ru came all the way from South Korea to Suva, Fiji with a simple mission: reach the lost. For over ten years, his local church has been doing exactly that, one child at a time. About 30 kids from the surrounding Hindu community show up regularly for meals, Bible stories, crafts, and a little help with their schoolwork. These are children from impoverished families who might not have much, but they know where to find a warm welcome.
That kind of consistency is rare and it matters. A decade of faithful presence in a community builds the kind of trust that opens hearts. MANNA Worldwide is honored to partner with Pastor Ru's ministry to keep the meals coming and the doors wide open, because what's happening in Suva is exactly what the Gospel looks like in action.
The Strategy for Transformation
Our approach focuses on three key objectives:

Feed approximately 30 children multiple times a week, because a full stomach makes everything else possible including learning, growing, and feeling loved.

Share Bible stories gently and consistently in a community where the Gospel is new, trusting that a decade of faithful relationship is exactly how hearts begin to open.
🎨 Skills, Crafts, and Confidence
Provide educational support and hands-on activities that help kids thrive in school and discover that they are creative, capable, and seen.
All of this happens because of people like you choosing to say YES. Choosing to impact lives around the globe. Choosing to let your dollars be your vote in the kind of world you want to see.
Currently, Suva needs an addition $500 per month.
Long Term Mindset
Every month, the center needs $500 to provide meals multiple times a week for 30 children from impoverished Hindu families in Suva, Fiji.
Future Growth
We would love to expand to daily programming so these kids have a consistent place to land every single day, with meals, mentorship, and the chance to hear about Jesus on the regular.

Growth: A stable monthly base is the only way we can scale from two days a week to a full-time church and community center.
